Don't fall for the fake, Don't Reject the Real

Friends are something that everyone needs in their lives to remain sane. Some may feel like the more friends you have the better. Others may feel like if you have an abundance of friends you will accumulate more drama in your life. One task that is hard for me to do is find REAL friends. People can make it seem as if they are genuinely your friends and can talk about you to your back as if your nothing to them. People can be influenced by others lookin in from the outside and are jealous of the relationship you hold. Or the friend can be influenced so easily that their perspective on things will change at a snap of a finger. I feel like friendship isn’t defined by how many pix yall have of each other on facebook or how many times yall got drunk or went to parties together. Friends are supposed to support you, listen to and help you with your problems, comfort you, Do favors without expecting anything back and just b there for you through thick and thin. Now days it seems that people are only around when they are either bored or you have something to offer them. I can say that when I am at school I have a lot of people that I can call friends but when I come home for the summer I won’t hear from 95 percent of them till I make it back to Beaumont. I’m so used to having people around me so much at school that I tend to get a little case of depression. This is where the loner part comes in because I tend to just want to sit in the house and be by myself, not talk on the phone, and have no interaction with anyone. Though this isn’t a great feeling it’s what we need to realize that those people aren’t as important as you think they are. When people say, “Hey! We need to hang out!” I just say, “Sure” and walk off. Um not to be rude but dude you didn’t hit me on Facebook or twitter. Nor did u read my blog hahaha just kidding but yes something like that. I’m Telling you this so that you can pull up the bad weeds and keep the good ones. Just whatever you do, don’t fall for the fake and don’t reject the real.
